Thomas Frisendal on Concept Mapping

Once upon a time, many years ago I thought I'd made a big breakthrough. The financial director was using a presentation that I had made. It was comprised almost entirely of an entity relationship (ER) model of our customer data. I had broken the model into sections so that, slide by slide, you could tell a story about customer data showing the hierarchy along which we could aggregate from the local shipping addresses to a coherent global view of multinational customers.
